Oyo State Governor and Allied Peoples Movement presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Barrister Anthony Ehilebo as Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The appointment takes immediate effect and was announced on Thursday in a statement signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
Makinde says Ehilebo’s experience as a legal professional and media strategist will strengthen the campaign’s communication, messaging and engagement with Nigerians.
The Governor described the appointment as part of efforts to effectively communicate the APM’s vision to the electorate ahead of the 2027 election.
He added that more appointments to the campaign team will be announced in due course.
