Queiroz Confident As Ghana Prepare For England World Cup Clash

Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has dismissed suggestions that England are overwhelming favourites ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial FIFA World Cup encounter against the Three Lions.

Queiroz spoke ahead of the Group stage fixture scheduled for tonight, expressing confidence in his team’s ability to compete against one of the tournament’s leading contenders.

The experienced coach insisted that Ghana would not be intimidated by England’s reputation and quality, stressing that his players are prepared for the challenge.

Queiroz, who previously suffered a 6-2 defeat to England while managing Iran at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, said the Black Stars would approach the match with belief and determination.

According to him, Ghana will draw strength from the support of millions of fans back home as they seek a positive result against the European side.
