The Embassy of Nigeria in Kuwait has issued a safety advisory to Nigerian nationals residing in Kuwait and Bahrain, urging them to remain calm and vigilant amid ongoing regional developments.
In a circular dated March 1, 2026, referenced NKT/GA/C/004/Vol. I, the mission — which also holds concurrent accreditation to the Kingdom of Bahrain — advised citizens to strictly comply with safety guidelines and official directives issued by authorities in both host countries.
The Embassy called on Nigerians in Kuwait and Bahrain to stay informed by following credible local news platforms and official government announcements, particularly as tensions continue to evolve in parts of the Middle East.
Embassy Opens Emergency Communication Line
To enhance real-time engagement, the Embassy announced the creation of a dedicated mobile and WhatsApp line to facilitate direct communication with Nigerian nationals.
The mission said it is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining regular contact with leaders of Nigerian community associations in both Kuwait and Bahrain to ensure timely information flow and coordinated response where necessary.
Nigerians requiring assistance were advised to reach the Embassy via email at nigeriakuwait@yahoo.com or through the designated telephone and WhatsApp numbers provided by the mission.
Reaffirming its commitment to the welfare and safety of Nigerians within its jurisdiction, the Embassy pledged to provide further updates as developments unfold.
