The Federal Government is strengthening coordination between Nigeria’s foreign policy and national development priorities as part of efforts to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, held a meeting in Abuja with the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, and the Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.
The meeting focused on deepening collaboration between both ministries to support Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives, improve national development planning and enhance the implementation of key government programmes.
Discussions also centred on strengthening engagement with development partners, improving funding for Nigeria’s diplomatic missions and ensuring better coordination in international cooperation.
The Federal Government says the partnership reflects its commitment to using diplomacy as a strategic tool to attract investment, secure development assistance and build international partnerships that will support economic growth and sustainable national development.
