Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, relieving the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Mrs. Toyin Balogun, of her appointment.
The governor also redeployed Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion with immediate effect.
The development was announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
According to the statement, Sanni takes over from Balogun, who has now been relieved of her duties after serving as commissioner in the ministry.
Governor Makinde thanked Balogun for her service and contributions to the development of Oyo State, wishing her success in her future endeavours.
Sanni previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023 before she was redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties and later to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
With the latest cabinet reshuffle, she returns to head the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, with the redeployment taking immediate effect.
