Senate President Godswill Akpabio says the All Progressives Congress, APC, has enough achievements to present to Nigerians as the party prepares for the 2027 general election.
Akpabio spoke in Uyo while receiving members of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions, TETFund and NELFund, led by Senator Dandutse Mohammed.
He says President Bola Tinubu inherited an economy facing significant challenges but has introduced measures that have improved the financial position of states and strengthened different sectors of the economy.
According to Akpabio, the administration will campaign on what he described as achievements in the economy, agriculture, security, education and fiscal policy.
The Senate President also expressed confidence that Nigerians would re-elect President Tinubu for a second term in 2027.
Akpabio says the 10th Senate will continue to collaborate with the Executive to deliver programmes and policies for Nigerians.
Earlier, Senator Dandutse Mohammed said the committee was in Akwa Ibom State for sensitisation and oversight of projects executed by TETFund.
He also highlighted the impact of NELFund and TETFund on education, saying initiatives in the sector are benefiting Nigerian students and parents.
