President Bola Tinubu has officially presented Vice President Kashim Shettima with the certificate confirming his nomination as the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
The presentation follows the party’s endorsement of Shettima as President Tinubu’s running mate, ending speculation over the APC’s vice presidential ticket ahead of the next general election.

Speaking at the event, Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for re-nominating Shettima, describing the decision as a vote of confidence in the Vice President’s leadership, loyalty and service to the nation.
