South African police say investigations are ongoing into the death of footballer Jayden Adams, whose body was discovered at a property in Cape Town last weekend.
Authorities said the 25 year old midfielder was found at a residence in the Schotsche Kloof area on Saturday, but the cause of death has not yet been established.
Adams’ family says they are awaiting the outcome of a post mortem examination before making funeral arrangements.
The midfielder recently represented South Africa at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring in all three group stage matches during the country’s historic run to the knockout stage.
