Residents of the Federal Capital Territory have been urged to take advantage of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mega Registration Centre at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10, to register and resolve issues relating to their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
INEC officials and residents who spoke with ADBN News described the registration process as fast, seamless and accessible.
INEC says it has so far registered 2.43 million new voters nationwide, with Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 34 accounting for the majority of registrations.
To encourage wider participation ahead of the 2027 general elections, the commission extended the Continuous Voter Registration exercise from July 10 to July 26 and established the Mega Registration Centre to provide faster and more efficient voter registration and PVC-related services.
The commission is encouraging all eligible residents who are yet to register or need to update their voter records to visit the centre before the July 26 deadline.
