The Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Patrick Daaor, has continued his familiarisation engagements with key stakeholders as part of efforts to strengthen security and public safety across the state.
Daaor visited retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police and former Military Administrator, Dr. Prince Oyakhire, where discussions focused on leadership, administration and strategic policing.
The Commissioner also visited the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Edo State Office in Aduwawa, Benin City, where he met with the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Obo Effanga, and members of the Commission’s management team.
Discussions centred on election security, intelligence sharing, inter-agency collaboration and preparations for future electoral activities in the state.
Daaor also conducted an on-the-spot security assessment of the INEC facility to identify possible security gaps.
