Samuel Ogazi has made history as the first Nigerian to qualify for the men’s four-hundred-meter final at the Olympics in 36 years.

The 18-year-old clocked a personal best time of forty-four point four one seconds to finish third in heat 3 of the men’s four hundred meters semi-final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
