Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has warned internet fraudsters against bringing proceeds from fraudulent activities into the church.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ibiyeomie described internet fraud, commonly known as Yahoo Yahoo, as stealing, saying money obtained from others through deception cannot be justified.
The cleric also urged Christians to distance themselves from people involved in internet fraud and reject proceeds obtained through such activities.
Addressing suspected internet fraudsters in his congregation, Ibiyeomie said the church would not accept offerings from money obtained through fraud, regardless of the amount involved.
He also recounted the alleged death of a university professor who reportedly lost his savings to internet fraudsters before collapsing and dying.
