Thirty women coaches have completed the first module of a three-part CAF C-License program organized by the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja.
Organized largely for former Nigerian internationals and active coaches, the program included a rigorous week of classroom and practical sessions conducted by coach educators and resource persons.
NFF’s Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, told the Federation’s media unit that the coaches demonstrated a strong eagerness to learn throughout the first module.
He praised their attitude and conduct, expressing anticipation for their return for the subsequent modules.
The second module is scheduled from 12th August to 20th August in Abuja, followed by a two-week internship starting on 23rd August. The final module, which includes participant examinations, will take place from 9th September to 19th.
NFF’s Head of Education, Dr. Terry Babatunde Eguaoje, is part of the coaching team alongside Coaches Isah Ladan Bosso, Wemimo Olanrewaju, and Lanrence Ndaks.
The cohort of 30 includes former Super Falcons’ Stars such as Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, Esther Michael, and Maureen Eke.
