Jay-Z has celebrated 30 years in music with a two-night performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The 56-year-old rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, performed on September 4 and 5 as part of his JAY-Z30 anniversary tour, marking his first solo UK shows in nearly a decade.
The concerts celebrated 30 years since the release of his debut album, “Reasonable Doubt,” and 25 years since “The Blueprint.”
The London shows featured appearances from several artists, including Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Giggs, Sampha and Dave.
Jay-Z performed some of his biggest hits, including “99 Problems,” “Empire State of Mind,” “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)” and “No Church in the Wild.”
One of the highlights of the first night came when Jay-Z led the audience in singing “Happy Birthday” to his wife, Beyoncé, who turned 45 on September 4.
The London concerts followed a three-night run at Yankee Stadium in New York in July as Jay-Z continues to celebrate a career spanning three decades in hip-hop and popular culture.
