Liverpool have had a £50 million bid rejected by Brighton for Gambia international winger Yankuba Minteh.
The 22-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in 73 appearances for Brighton.
Minteh joined the Seagulls from Newcastle for £30 million in 2024 and operates primarily on the right wing.
He is currently recovering from a leg injury sustained during a friendly against Roma earlier this month.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola is looking to strengthen his wide attacking options before the transfer window closes following the departure of Mohamed Salah.
Brighton have, however, rejected Liverpool’s opening £50 million offer for Minteh.
