Nigeria’s Wahid Enitan Oshodi has been unanimously elected as the President of the African Table Tennis Federation during the 2024 Annual General Meeting held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Mr. Oshodi’s election marks him as the only Nigerian currently presiding over a continental sports body. He also serves as the Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation.
A former Lagos State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Mr. Oshodi, received support from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu leading up to the election.
He becomes the second Nigerian to lead the ATTF, following in the footsteps of George Segun.
