SUPER FALCONS COACH CLARIFIES ASISAT OSHOALA’S ABSENCE FROM NIGERIA’S SQUAD FOR FRANCE CLASH

Date:

Super Falcons head coach, Justin Madugu, has clarified that Asisat Oshoala has not been included in Nigeria’s squad for Saturday’s match against France due to logistical reasons.

Coach Madugu explained that Oshoala, who currently plays for Bay FC in the United States, is taking time to renew her documentation, which is why she was not invited to the squad.

He emphasized that Oshoala remains an integral part of the Super Falcons and an invaluable player for the team. Her absence, he said, is solely due to logistical issues and not a reflection of her talent or significance within the squad.

Coach Madugu further assured that Oshoala is expected to return to the team once her situation is resolved, as her contributions to the squad are immense.
