Nigeria’s Super Eagles will open their camp in Kigali on Sunday, March 16, in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Head Coach Eric Chelle is expected to announce a 23-man squad later this week, selected from a provisional list of 39 players. The squad will feature several new faces as the team gears up for the crucial qualifiers.
Currently fifth in their qualifying group with three points from four matches, Nigeria will face Rwanda on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe on March 25 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Both matches are pivotal for the three-time African champions as they aim to secure victories to enhance their chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
