Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, has praised the Super Eagles for their composure despite facing provocations in Libya.
The team arrived at Al Abaq Airport on Sunday evening for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers but was delayed for over 16 hours before departing.
They arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano on Monday evening before continuing to Abuja.
Upon welcoming the team at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, the minister expressed admiration for their calm demeanor during the ordeal.
He also noted that discussions had taken place with officials from the Confederation of African Football regarding the situation.
