Senator Akpabio Seeks Collaboration of UK in Deepening Nigeria’s Democracy

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has emphasized Nigeria’s shared history with the United Kingdom (UK) and expressed a desire for the UK’s support in bolstering democratic practices in Nigeria and across Africa.

Senator Akpabio stated this when the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Richard Montgomery led a Delegation to pay a Courtesy Visit to the Leadership of the National Assembly in Abuja.
