Chelsea have completed the signing of England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa in a British record transfer worth £117 million.
The 23-year-old has signed a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea beat competition from Arsenal to secure his signature.
Rogers arrives after an impressive campaign with Aston Villa and six appearances for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where his performances earned him a place in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
During his time at Villa, Rogers made 125 appearances, scoring 31 goals and providing 29 assists. He previously had spells with Middlesbrough, Lincoln City, AFC Bournemouth and Blackpool.
Chelsea will hope the England international strengthens their midfield as they prepare for the new season.
