Rivers Hoopers Set to Clash with AS Douanes in Crucial Basketball Africa League Seeding Game

Rivers Hoopers of Port Harcourt have been drawn against AS Douanes of Senegal in one of the four seeding games in the ongoing 2024 basketball Africa League playoffs.

The game is scheduled to take place at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda next week.

Both teams clashed twice in the Sahara Conference in Senegal recently, with each team securing one victory.

In their opener, Rivers Hoopers emerged victorious with a score of 77-68 against Douanes.

However, in the second game, the Senegalese side managed to edge past Hoopers with a narrow victory of 56-54.

The seeding games are set to unfold from May 24 to 25.

The winners of the matchup between Hoopers and Douanes will advance to face off against the winners of the game between Petro de Luanda of Angola and US Monastir of Tunisia in the subsequent round.
