Residents of Edo State Protest Gruesome Murder of Middle-Aged Man, Demand Justice

Residents of Edo State took to the streets on Tuesday to protest the gruesome murder of Efe, a middle-aged man who was killed at a building site where he was working. The protesters marched through major roads in the city, making their way to the State House of Assembly and the Police State Command to demand justice for the victim.

Efe, a father of three who was physically challenged, was reportedly killed under tragic circumstances, sparking outrage among residents. The protesters called for a thorough investigation into the incident to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.

During the protest, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Honorable Blessing Agbebaku, and the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Ben Abang, addressed the crowd. Both officials assured the protesters that justice would be served in the case.

The incident has raised concerns about safety and security in the state, with residents urging authorities to take swift action to prevent such tragedies in the future.
