Oborevwori’s Son Marries in Colourful Traditional Ceremony

Prominent political, business and traditional leaders have gathered in Isiokolo, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, for the traditional marriage of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s son, Innocent.

Innocent Oborevwori married Tobore Arigbodi, daughter of businessman and Managing Director of Librod Energy Limited, Chief Brodericks Arigbodi.

The ceremony, held at the Arigbodi family’s country home, was conducted in accordance with Urhobo customs and traditions, featuring traditional rites, music and dancing.

Dignitaries at the event included Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme, former governors James Ibori and Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator Ede Dafinone, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, and NDDC Chairman, Chiedu Ebie.

Members of the State House of Assembly, Commissioners, local government chairmen, business leaders and other government officials also attended the ceremony.

Governor Oborevwori and his wife, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, joined the Arigbodi family in receiving guests and celebrating the couple.

Guests offered prayers and good wishes for the newlyweds, while musician Duncan Mighty entertained the gathering with some of his popular songs.
