NIMC Highlights Need For 95 Million Nigerians To Register For NIN

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has disclosed that 95 million Nigerians need to enroll for the National Identification Number (NIN).

According to the Head of Corporate Communications, Kayode Adegoke, the Commission remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving universal enrollment in the NIN system by 2025.

Mr Adegoke noted that since Abisoye Coker was appointed the Director-General of NIMC, she has recognized the necessity to streamline the modification and enrollment processes, with new features introduced to facilitate necessary modifications such as changing names, dates of birth, email addresses, and phone numbers. These modifications can now be made from the comfort of individuals’ homes or offices, utilizing various devices, including iOS and Android-based devices.

The Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Adegoke while emphasizing on the convenience of the self-service modification portal, urged Nigerians to take advantage of this innovative solution.
