Super Eagles To Face Squirrels Of Benin Republic In 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier In Abidjan

Date:

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play the Squirrels of Benin Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday four at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan in June.

Benin Republic will play the game in Ivory Coast after their Stadium was ruled as sub-standard by the World Football Governing Body, FIFA.

The Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium is a familiar ground for the Super Eagles as they have played three matches in the stadium during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

The Super Eagles will host the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Friday, June 7 before the clash with the squirrels three days later.
