Nigerian Youths Urged to tap into Revised Nigerian Youth Investment Fund for Loan Access

Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Jamila Ibrahim has urged Nigerian Youths to tap into the revised Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) to provide young entrepreneurs access to loans and comprehensive business support.

Hon. Ibrahim said this at the 2024 National Youth Summit on crime prevention with the theme: Empowering Youth: Building Safe and Inclusive Communities which was held at the University of Lagos.

The Minister further disclosed that the federal government recognized the grave threat that high unemployment rates posed to our nation which is why the initiative was created to meet the needs of youths for sustainable solutions that address long-term challenges.

It also features the role of education and leadership in crime prevention, the impact of social media and technology, mental health, and economic empowerment.
