Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno Begins Second Year with Three-Day Prayer Summit

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has joined a solemn three-day prayer summit organized by the state branch of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in collaboration with the Fathers of Faith, to commence his second year in office.

Pastor Eno led government officials, religious leaders, and members of the public to pray for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Akwa Ibom at the International Christian Centre in Uyo, the State capital.

The Guest Preacher, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who preached on the sub-theme, “Pray without Ceasing”, drawn from First Thessalonians 5:17-18, urged the state to cultivate a constant communion with God through prayer.

Pastor Adeboye underscored the transformative power of persistent prayer in shaping personal and collective destinies in the State.

The three-day prayer summit which featured song ministration, inspirational messages, and spiritual declarations, continues today and will end on Wednesday.
