NASARAWA STATE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION

The Nasarawa State Government has reiterated its commitment to advancing education and supporting initiatives that enhance learning across the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule pledged during the maiden matriculation ceremony at Phoenix University, Agwada, where 260 students were inducted into various faculties, including Computing and Technology, Natural and Agricultural Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Governor Sule described education as a cornerstone for societal growth and emphasized his administration’s focus on promoting educational opportunities. He urged students, particularly those on state-sponsored scholarships, to prioritize their studies and maximize the resources available to them.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Bala, and Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to providing quality education. The newly appointed Chancellor, Dr. Muhammadu Indimi, expressed gratitude for his role and encouraged students to prioritize learning.

Founder and Chairman of Phoenix University, Dr. Abdullahi Adamu, highlighted the institution’s mission to transform the educational landscape of Nasarawa State and provide lasting legacies for future generations.
