The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has commissioned three blocks of six fully furnished classrooms at Central Pilot Primary School in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State as part of efforts to improve access to education and reduce the number of out-of-school children.
The project, executed under the Chief of the Air Staff’s Special Intervention Projects initiative, includes desks and chairs to provide a conducive learning environment for pupils.
NAF said the intervention is aimed at strengthening human capital development and supporting efforts to tackle the out-of-school children crisis, particularly in northern Nigeria.
Represented by the Chief of Civil-Military Relations, the Chief of the Air Staff said the project reflects the Air Force’s commitment to promoting education, community development and national security through effective civil-military cooperation.
The Plateau State Government commended the initiative, describing the new classrooms as a major boost to quality education and learning outcomes in the community.
The Nigerian Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to implementing similar community-focused projects across the country to support education and strengthen relations with host communities.
