The Minister of Defence, Dr. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has commended the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) for its intensified efforts to combat banditry and insurgency in Northwest Nigeria under Operation FANSAN YAMMA.
Dr. Badaru, during visits to Katsina and Sokoto States, symbolically launched a reinvigorated air campaign aimed at neutralizing criminal elements in the region.
He praised the professionalism of the NAF and highlighted the Federal Government’s investment in advanced technologies and modern aircraft under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, assured Nigerians of the Air Force’s unwavering commitment to restoring peace and stability, with a renewed focus on protecting vulnerable communities.
