Kellyrae has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, securing the grand prize of ₦60 million, an SUV, and other exciting rewards. He edged out fellow housemate Wanni, who took the runner-up spot, and Onyeka, the second runner-up.
Kellyrae now joins the ranks of past winners, including Ilebaye Odiniya, the All-Stars champion, continuing the legacy of triumph in Nigeria’s most highly anticipated reality show.
This year’s edition, themed “No Loose Guard,” kicked off on July 24, 2024, with 14 pairs of housemates. However, only one pair and six individual contestants made it to the grand finale.
The other finalists who joined Kellyrae in the race for the top prize included Victoria, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita, each bringing their own unique dynamic to the competition. Kellyrae, Victoria, and Wanni were particularly viewed as the fan favorites to make it to the final podium.
The finale was a vibrant affair, with star performances from popular artists like Joeboy and Qing Madi, adding to the excitement of the night as Kellyrae claimed his well-deserved victory.
