The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced Saturday, June 28, 2025, as the date for its nationwide mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), targeting over 96,000 candidates.
In a statement signed by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, all affected candidates have been directed to begin printing their examination notification slips starting Monday, June 23.
JAMB also disclosed that 113 computer-based test centres across the country have been suspended due to various infractions recorded during the 2025 UTME exercise. Among the violations uncovered was the impersonation of registered candidates by some undergraduates—an act the Board is determined to stamp out with the collaboration of security agencies.
The mop-up examination is scheduled to commence at 8:00 a.m. on the exam day. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at their assigned centres at least one hour before the examination begins.
