The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has deployed the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone Four, Dankombo Morris, to Plateau State following recent attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area.
According to a statement made available to journalists, the AIG visited the affected communities to assess the security situation and met with stakeholders, where he conveyed the condolences of the police leadership to families of the victims.
He announced the deployment of additional security personnel and operational assets to strengthen security operations, enhance public safety and support efforts aimed at restoring peace in the affected communities.
The Nigeria Police Force reaffirmed its commitment to bringing those responsible for the attacks to justice and pledged to continue working with relevant stakeholders to ensure lasting peace and security across Plateau State.
