House of Representatives Announces the Passing of Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has sorrowfully announced the passing of Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams, a member of the 10th Assembly representing Kaduna State.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Honourable Akin Rotimi Junior, shared the news of Honourable Adams’ demise on Tuesday.

Honourable Adams, who was 39 years old, passed away early Tuesday. Until his untimely death, he served as the chairman of the House Committee on Sports.

Representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, Honourable Adams was in his first term as a member of the House of Representatives.

In a statement, he was described as a dedicated public servant, a passionate sports administrator, and a generous philanthropist.

The House of Representatives acknowledged his unwavering commitment to the development of grassroots sports in Nigeria and expressed deep sorrow over his passing, noting that his contributions to the House will be greatly missed.

The House extended heartfelt condolences to Honourable Adams’ family, friends, constituents, and the people and Government of Kaduna State. They prayed for strength and comfort for his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
