HANDBALL FEDERATION OF NIGERIA RELEASES 2024 PREMIER LEAGUE PHASE 2 SCHEDULE

Date:

Handball Federation of Nigeria has released the fixture schedule for the second phase of the 2024 Handball Premier League, which will take place in Lagos.

The second phase of the top-tier league is scheduled to run from 26th November to 8th December, following the conclusion of the first phase in Benin City, Edo State, earlier this year.

Tournament director, Mr. Shina Sanya, explained that the fixtures were released well in advance to allow teams ample time to prepare for the upcoming matches.

In the men’s category, all eyes will be on league leaders Tojemarine Academy, who will aim to maintain their top spot as they face seventh-place Corrections Boys while second-place Rima Strikers, who will kick off their second-phase campaign against De Defenders.

In the women’s category, defending champions Safety Babes, who remain unbeaten for over two years, will begin their second-phase campaign against sixth-placed Rivers Queens.
