Governor Umo Eno Felicitates Senate President Godswill Akpabio on 62nd Birthday

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno lauded the Senate President as a transformative leader whose contributions have left an indelible mark on Akwa Ibom State.

Describing Senator Akpabio as “a consequential son of our dear State,” Governor Eno highlighted his tenure as Governor, noting the enduring legacy of his service to the people of Akwa Ibom.

“Today, as the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you are emerging as a Pan-Nigerian leader, working across party lines to galvanize members of the 10th National Assembly and indeed the larger Nigerian populace to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR,” the statement read.

Governor Eno further acknowledged Senator Akpabio’s support for Akwa Ibom State’s developmental goals, particularly the Arise Agenda, which underscores the Governor’s vision for growth and progress. He emphasized that Senator Akpabio’s contributions illustrate that politics and development can coexist beyond political affiliations.

“As you celebrate your birthday today, on behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I wish you a happy birthday. May God bless you with robust health, strength, and protection so you may continue to serve our nation with more verve and vigour,” Governor Eno concluded.

Senator Godswill Akpabio’s 62nd birthday has been widely celebrated, with tributes pouring in from across the country, recognizing his enduring contributions to national development and his pivotal role in fostering unity and progress within the 10th National Assembly.
