Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has called on members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to uphold the values of patriotism, diligence, and unwavering commitment to national unity, peace, and grassroots development as they commence their one-year mandatory service in the state.
The governor made the appeal during the closing ceremony of the Batch A Stream II Orientation Course, held in Kaduna. He was represented at the event by the Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Rabi Salisu, who commended the corps members for their discipline, resilience, and active engagement throughout the three-week camp.
Describing them as “vital contributors to the future of Nigeria,” the governor expressed confidence that the orientation exercise had adequately prepared them for the challenges and responsibilities ahead. He urged the corps members to see their host communities as their own and contribute meaningfully to their development.
