Galatasaray Manager Confirms Osimhen’s Loan Deal Includes January Transfer Clause

Date:

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has confirmed that Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen’s loan agreement with Napoli includes a clause allowing a potential transfer to another club in the January window.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Buruk clarified that the 25-year-old striker, who joined the Turkish giants on the final day of the summer transfer window, intends to remain with Galatasaray for the entire season. “Osimhen has expressed his desire to stay until the season ends, and he reiterated this when he first arrived,” Buruk said.

While there is a January transfer clause in his contract, Buruk emphasized that the final decision rests with Osimhen. “The player is the one who decides, and he has made it clear that he wants to stay,” the manager added.

Despite previous failed transfer attempts to Al-Ahli and Chelsea, Osimhen has made an impressive start at Galatasaray, netting eight goals and delivering four assists in just nine matches.

While Buruk remains optimistic about retaining the star forward, he acknowledged that Galatasaray is willing to push financial limits if necessary to keep him until the season concludes.
