Victor Osimhen Rejects Al Ahli’s €70 Million Offer Amid Unresolved Contract Negotiations

Date:

Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has declined a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli.

Despite signing a new contract in December 2023, which included a €130 million release clause, no offer has yet matched this figure.

On Sunday evening, reports emerged that Al Ahli had submitted a €70 million bid for the Nigerian striker, an offer that Napoli might have considered.

However, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed on Monday that the 25-year-old Osimhen rejected the proposal due to the terms offered.

Romano stated, “Victor Osimhen is not accepting Al Ahli proposals as he required an important salary AND a release clause. The release clause is crucial or the deal will not happen at all, sources confirm.”

Osimhen has been training separately from his Napoli teammates this summer and remains poised for a potential move before the transfer window closes.
