The federal government has stated its resolve to address the demands made by Organised Labour for the restoration of power subsidies and the reversal of the electricity tariff hike.
The Spokesperson to Minister of Power, Mrs. Florence Eke, disclosed this to newsmen after Labour Unions interrupted activities at the Ministry in Abuja.
Mrs. Eke, assured comprehensive dialogue with all relevant parties to address concerns raised by the National Union of Electricity Employees.
Meanwhile, Organized Labour threatened to continue the protest indefinitely, warning of severe action if the government fails to reverse the tariff hike as the protests paralyzed activities at the Federal Ministry of Power, Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission and Distribution companies nationwide.
