FCT MINISTER ASSURES TIMELY COMPLETION OF ROAD PROJECTS

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, has assured contractors that funding will not hinder the completion of ongoing road construction projects within the FCT.

Speaking during an inspection tour of construction sites, Wike expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on key projects such as the Bwari-Usman Road and the Kweita-Yangoji Road.

The Minister reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure across the territory, including satellite towns and rural areas. He emphasized that adequate funding would be provided to ensure the timely delivery of projects, aiming to enhance the living standards of residents.

Wike also disclosed plans to commission several major road projects by December, reinforcing his administration’s focus on infrastructure development. The Minister’s proactive approach has been widely praised as a step toward addressing the transportation challenges faced by FCT residents.
