AJIBADE, NNADOZIE NOMINATED FOR 2024 CAF WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Date:

Super Falcons players Rasheedat Ajibade and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been nominated for the 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year award.

The two Nigerian stars were included in the 10-player shortlist announced by CAF on Wednesday.

Notably, Asisat Oshoala, the reigning holder of the prestigious award, did not make the list. This marks the first time since 2015 that the six-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year has been absent from the shortlist.

The 2024 CAF Awards will take place on 16th December in Marrakech, Morocco.
