Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo has dissolved the state’s Local Government Service Commission as part of ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in public service.
The governor explained that the dissolution is a step toward revitalizing the commission to improve service delivery, eliminate inefficiencies, and create a more accountable governance structure.
Governor Okpebholo assured citizens and public servants of smooth operations during the transitional period. He pledged to engage stakeholders in crafting a robust restructuring plan that meets the state’s needs and promotes effective governance.
