British heavyweight contender Daniel Dubois has vowed to upset the odds and dethrone Oleksandr Usyk in their much-anticipated undisputed world title showdown at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
Speaking at the pre-fight press conference, the 26-year-old Dubois, who boasts 21 knockouts from 22 wins and just two losses, said he is ready to make history and silence his critics.
“This is my moment. I’m chasing greatness, and I’m ready to take those belts,” Dubois declared. “I respect Usyk, but I’m here to win and shock the world.”
Usyk, the reigning WBA, WBO, and WBC heavyweight champion, will defend his titles in front of a packed Wembley crowd, with the eyes of the boxing world firmly fixed on the bout.
Dubois insisted he is unfazed by the occasion, promising to “write a new chapter” by seizing the belts and becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
