AKWA IBOM POLICE COMMAND PRESENTS CHEQUES TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN OFFICERS

Akwa Ibom State Police Command has presented cheques worth over eighty-nine million naira to families of deceased officers.

The Presentation took place on Monday at the State Command Headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia getting across to fifty-four families of deceased Police Officers.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Timfon John in a statement noted the Commissioner highlighting the Inspector General of Police’s resolve towards the welfare of police officers and their Families.

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo while presenting Cheques, called on the beneficiaries who are next of kin to the deceased officers to ensure that they make optimal use of the funds provided to them.

The Cheques presented were part of the Inspector General of Police’s ‘Family Welfare Scheme’, Group Life Assurance, and Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme.
