AHMED MUSA SHINES IN RETURN TO NIGERIA PREMIER FOOTBALL LEAGUE WITH TWO GOALS FOR KANO PILLARS

Date:

Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa made a triumphant return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, scoring twice for Kano Pillars in their two- zero victory over Sunshine Stars on Sunday.

In his third debut for Kano Pillars during the week five match, Musa found the net just four minutes into the game with a powerful finish.

Six minutes after the break, he doubled the lead for Pillars but missed a chance for a hat-trick when his penalty in the 70th minute struck the post.

The 31-year-old’s two goals secured Pillars’ second win of the season, following their opening day triumph of three-nil against Ikorodu City.
