UEFA will observe a moment of silence before all Champions League matches this week in honour of victims of the devastating flash floods that struck Nepal on August 26.
European football’s governing body says a banner carrying the message, “You are not alone, Nepal,” will also be displayed before the matches as a show of solidarity with those affected by the disaster.

UEFA says the tribute is intended to remember the victims, support their families and show solidarity with Nepal as the country continues its recovery efforts.
UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin says the European football community stands with the people of Nepal during the difficult period.
