Tennis legends Venus Williams and Serena Williams are set to make their doubles return at the Cincinnati Open later this month after receiving a wild card entry into the tournament.
The event will mark the sisters’ first doubles appearance together since the 2022 US Open.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest doubles partnerships in tennis history, the Williams sisters have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles, including six Wimbledon championships, as well as three Olympic gold medals.
Their last doubles match came at the 2022 US Open, where they were defeated by Czech duo Lucie Hradecká and Linda Nosková.
The sisters had been expected to reunite at Wimbledon last month, but plans were shelved after Serena Williams sustained a knee injury.
