Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has appealed to Nigerians to remain patient despite the prevailing economic hardship, expressing confidence that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is working to address the nation’s economic challenges.
Speaking with journalists after a ministerial engagement at the Shepherd House Assembly in Abuja, Governor Eno said the country’s current economic situation requires patience, understanding and constructive dialogue between citizens and government.
He urged Nigerians to continue engaging with their leaders through peaceful and meaningful conversations while supporting efforts aimed at improving the economy.
Governor Eno also called on leaders at all levels to embrace sacrificial leadership, stressing that the welfare and interests of the people must always take precedence over personal ambition.
He said true leadership is demonstrated through selfless service and a commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
